About me

Hey ! I am a peculiar Fairy from Greece and France. I am inspired by nature, human delicate feelings and deep philosophical thoughts. Quite often, I am surprised each time by the unpredictable results of my own explorative playfulness.

My art is mainly figurative on an abstract intuitive base. I insist on preserving a fresh and almost childlike look on things as well as my old soul’s thoughtful contemplation on ideas. I dance around Poetry which is always in the heart of my artworks. Each piece of art is a visual poem since Poetry elevates our spirit in all forms of conception, creation and expression ! It is embedded in a marriage of words, bows to the gesture of kindness, caresses a melody, ignites the gaze and brings meaning to life while adorning philosophy.

Surprisingly, I spent quite a few years in the academical environment, since I always needed to feed my mind and cultivate my spirit. That’s how I ended up with two MPhil, one in History of Philosophy, Metaphysics and Phenomenology, then another one in Philosophy of Arts and Aesthetics, in Sorbonne University in Paris. My research and thesis where exploring Playfulness and Creativity involved in the transitional place experienced in Arts. I had also an Art background in a University Department of Fine Arts and sciences of arts in Greece which I left to develop my own personal style. In the beginning I was wandering how I would combine my formal studies and my artistic needs in several sectors. The confrontation in between my dreams and our world structure and work systems has been problematic. Adaptation capacity and revolution’s spirit, thinking and making, today I embrace my journey with all it’s paradoxes and diversity.

For me art is not a mean to express my heavy thoughts, when I create I am not charged but light enough to fly sometimes in between the stars, others in between the lower little flowers. Creating is a way to explore and play with the rules. It’s a small spoon of freedom, and the taste is so sweet that most of my art might represent that as well besides the conceptual messages that my mind defends.
